It was festive evening on Wednesday, November 30, which marked the grand opening of Internationally-renowned Southern Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão’s second Atlanta-area location in Dunwoody.
“We’re very excited to open our second Atlanta-area restaurant in Dunwoody,” said Larry Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão.
Guests were treated to signature cocktails as well as the full offering of hand carved meats and decadent desserts.
Our LUX favorites were the MANGO CHILEAN SEA BASS served with fresh, homemade mango relish and malagueta pepper sauce atop asparagus spear:
Then there was BLACKBERRY AZEDO with muddled fresh blackberries, mint, Hendrick’s Gin, crème de cassis and lime sour:
And finally the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE featuring alternating layers of white and dark chocolate mousse and chocolate cake:
The menu is anchored around the Full Churrasco experience, the art of roasting meats over an open fire, and espeto corrido, or “continuous service” and to celebrate the new location, an introductory price of $46.50 is the being offered for dinner.
The Dunwoody culinary team is proudly led by General Manager and Head Gaucho Chef Alceu Pressi, who first learned the gaucho style of cooking on his family farm in the small town of Marau, Brazil, located in Rio Grande do Sul, the state in which Fogo de Chão was founded.
Fogo de Chão Dunwoody is located in the new Spruill Center Development next door to The Spruill Center for the Arts and minutes from Perimeter Mall.
