Atlanta Ballet will open the doors of its west midtown studios on Saturday, August 29 to kick-off the 2015-16 season with its inaugural Block Party. The Atlanta community is invited to join the entire Company for an afternoon of carnival fun.
Festivities to include food trucks, photo booth, mini dance classes, scenery/wardrobe tours, exclusive Atlanta Ballet Costume Sale, Dunk-a-Dancer Booth, live DJ, and performances by Atlanta Ballet’s Wabi Sabi, The Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Opera.
The event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to support the Dancers’ Resource Fund*.

* The Dancers’ Resource Fund supports dancers as they prepare for second careers after dance. Upon retirement from the stage, dancers have used the funds for everything from college tuition to videography equipment for their career transitions.
