On Saturday June 6th, at the Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel, The Crystal Ball Foundation and The Chestnut Firm presented The Crystal Ball Gala’s “Carnival Masquerade.”
Recognized as one of Atlanta’s signature charity events, this year’s affair awarded four deserving students with scholarships.
The Crystal Ball Foundation also honored the following citizens with a signature “Class of Crystals Award”: Reverend Sandra Robertson (The Robinson-Carroll Legends Award Honoree), Mrs. Evelyn E. White (The Herbert G. Nelson Mentorship Award Honoree), Real Inspiration Ministry (The Carlton Todd Neal Volunteerism Award Honoree), Mrs. Virginia Holland-Davis (The Thelma “Jo” Harris-McCants Humanitarian Award Honoree), Mrs. Odessa P. Johnson, CFSP (The Vernetta B. Breathett Excellence in Funeral Service Award Honoree) and Mr. Earl Miser (The Chairman of the Board Award Honoree.)
ABOUT THE CRYSTAL BALL FOUNDATION: The Crystal Ball Foundation supports the development of young men and women in colleges from all across the nation. It serves as a beacon of light to enhance the lives of students through mentorship, leadership and scholarship. In order to qualify for consideration, the students must complete an application and an essay. The essay will be reviewed and judged on the basis of quality of content by our committee of selected educators.
