On Thursday, October 9, 2014, Urban Lux Magazine will present the fourth annual LUX LIST AWARDS honoring civil rights leader, Trumpet Awards founder and broadcasting executive, Xernona Clayton; politician, diplomat, activist and pastor, Ambassador Andrew Young; celebrity photographer, illustrator, director and producer, Derek Blanks; Double Bassist and Senior Division First Place Laureate of the 2014 Annual Sphinx Competition, Xavier Foley; attorney, author, cultural organizer, arts advocate and performer, Michael Molina and celebrity stylist and women’s wear designer Natt Taylor.
Hosted by NBC 11 Alive News evening anchor, DeMarco Morgan, our esteemed honorees will be presented an award and introduced to our readers, special guests and prominent media outlets.
Attendees will enjoy a live musical performance from ABC’s Rising Star finalist Shameia Crawford and a surprise unveiling of an original portrait by celebrated artist Janssen Robinson.
