Surprisingly, 18% of women and 6% of men suffer from chronic migraines. Children can also suffer from migraines because it is a hereditary disease. Ultimately, their education can be interrupted by these unbearable symptoms.
As many of you may know, June was Migraine Awareness Month, so what better way to support the Migraine Research Foundation by raising awareness as well as helping relieve those who suffer than offering a treatment available in spas that does just this?
Repêchage, a professional skin care product company has made it possible for their “Repêchage Sweet Relief” treatment to be available at Three-13 Salon, Spa & Boutique in Marietta. The treatment is also available in other locations: Leah Chavie Skincare Boutique in Chicago, Lovella in New York City and Vitomazza Salon & Day Spa in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
This is Repêchage’s first year allowing spas to use their treatment, and they plan to make this an on-going deal. The “Repêchage Sweet Relief” treatment is a scalp and facial lymphatic massage that uses facial manipulation techniques with Repêchage C-Serum, Repêchage Hydra-Amino Hair Spa Serum and the Essential Oil of Peppermint. The goal of the treatment is to help relieve tension and stress for people who suffer from migraines.
“We’re not saying that this is a medical treatment at all, it’s just something that people can come in and receive and feel wonderful afterwards; not only helping with relaxation, but with great massage. So, it’s something that you can come and get every week if you’d like. You can come in and get it as often as you’d like,” Shiri Sarfati, Executive Vice President of Repêchage said.
Even those who do not experience migraines can receive the treatment to gain more awareness and help out with the cause.
“Repêchage Sweet Relief” treatment was created by Lydia Sarfati, founder & CEO of Repêchage. She pitched this treatment to Three-13, and they loved the idea and decided to participate. Many of the salons even agreed to continue to offer the treatment year round.
