Thank you to the host, sponsors, supporters, contributors and attendees of Urban Lux Magazine “THE MEN’S ISSUE” release hosted by American Idol Finalist, Kinnik Sky, and Pro Bowl Fullback of the Atlanta Falcons, Ovie Mughelli.
It was a wonderful evening of STYLE, CULTURE and CONSCIENCE in support of the statewide adoption program, Freddie Mac Foundation Wednesday’s Child.
Guests enjoyed the sights of artist Jo Baskerville and D. Lammie-Hanson, grooved to the sounds of DJ OMG, experienced the fashions of Don-B, the intoxicating scents of Okeeba Jubalo, and sipped complementary VeeV Cocktails. The Lashes and Mustashes Portable Cigar Lounge was on site and fragrance expert Tia Aikens introduced guests to Fragrance House Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
“THE MEN’S ISSUE” features on the cover Q Parker, Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter and member of the multi-platinum selling group 112, and his son Quinness Parker JR.
Q Parker was on tour in Germany at the time of the event and left guests this message:
The highlight of the evening was the call to action by Wednesday’s Child Program Coordinator, Chanda Floyd-Bryant, the real life story of growing up in the foster care system by Anthony Reeves and the reconition of single adpotive parent, Mr. Vincent McCrae.
Mr. McCrae and sons Malik and Bobby received gifts from Kings of Atlanta Grooming Lounge and Spa, Ken Barber Signature, Real Men Cook and 5 Friends for Life (The White Party 2011).
Although the event has passed, please continue to support the Wednesday’s Child Program, consider adoption as an option and learn more about Wednesday’s Child by visiting http://wednesdayschildga.org.
